Goodbye, Alasky

August 1995 - April 23, 2012 Over the weekend Alasky slowly lost interest in all food, even refusing hot dogs and chicken nuggets. It was time to say goodbye and let her go. Given she was 16.5-years-old, she had developed many age-related problems (heart murmur, pancreatitis, liver disease, kidney disease, arthritis), but she just kept going. Never too old to keep the kitties and Yuki in line....

We just started to teach her “Pretty Please” aka Beg so we’re still working on her maintaining balance without trying to stand up and she doesn’t do agility, it’s just a fun little jump we built...
